Kajal is the daughter of Kashi Nagari, a mystic of India. She graduated from Banaras Hindu University in Chemistry Hons in 2010 and spent 5 years in the banking industry with IDBI bank. She started her blogging career in 2012 with her personal blog kajalmishra.com as a hobbyist and later thought of converting it into a more serious attempt at indiafashionblogger.com in 2015.
