Newest fashion guru Dhruv Kapur debuted at AIFWSS 2016 on day 4. Models walked on the ramp graced with neutral toned garments made by natural fabrics. With such collection we can safely say he has a long way to go.
Ikai by Ragini Ahuja
Ikai was a denim party on the ramp. This denim overload collection by Ragini Ahuja revolves around the spirit of rebellious romanticism. Ragini’s play with textures and print is commendable. While easy separates in chambray and leather teamed with cotton stripes and linen prints were treat to eyes, handkerchief hemlines and maxi jackets completely stole the show.
Love Birds
Love Birds also presented their first ever collection at AIFWSS 2016 and what a collection it was! Zen minimalist separates giving the androgyne vibe, beautiful colors, subtle layering. We needn’t say it was a great debut.
Eka
Handcrafted beauty at Eka completely blew our mind. Handloom stripes, plaids hand-woven cotton dresses, capes, kurtas with pencil pants layered with jackets all in summery colours, this is one label to watch for!
11.11/Eleven Eleven’s The Khadi Way
Khadi gets a new avatar at the ramp, Himanshu and Smita of 11.11/Eleven Eleven gave Khadi a new touch at AIFWSS 2016. The collection was filled with awe-inspiring garments in Khadi. Perky playful reds with embellishments, subtle blues, soft hues of pink, dazzling yellow were the colours of Khadi. What caught our eyes was the Denim-Khadi combination.
Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini
Geisha designs celebrated love at AIFWSS 2016. The feeling and power of being in love was articulated in garments which looked super sexy on the runway. Sheer fabrics, thoughtful layering, cut-out work and laces, flower crowns, romance was sure in the air at Paras and Shalini’s show.
Gauri and Nainika
If we have to pick one of our favorites from AIFWSS 2016 Day-4, we would pick these two beauties. Lovable shades of red, pink, turquoise, orange with detailing that can take your heart away, Gauri and Nainika’s collection takes us in the fairyland with to die for frills, ruffle dresses, pretty gowns and everything princess-like.
Malini Ramani
Malini Ramani added vigor to the AIFWSS 2016 with her collection. Tie and die was the standout art, while white and tan prints sizzled the ramp.
