Hello beauties! I hope all you gals are doing good. Here is new post on styling.
We are girls, so fashion & make up is our birth right. Every girl love to look beautiful and different in any celebrations she attend and I am no different. Whenever I have to attend a marriage or family function, my first worry would be what would I wear ? And how would I look different ? 🙂
Here’s my thoughts on how to get the best from your wardrobe in these marriage functions. Here are few look I had in various functions in last one month.
One of our close friend was getting married and I was excited for his marriage. On engagement day I wore a maroon and black color sari that was not heavy, but give a glamorous look. There was silver metallic work on the border of sari that was increasing the beauty of that sari.
Since this was a simple sari, I decided to drape the sari in slightly stylish way to make it more appealing. Saw the method of draping in a fashion week couple of months back. Have a look:-
I curled my hair and arranged all in one side. Did some heavy makeup on eye (as I was wearing relatively plain sari) and choose light lipstick shade. Also, since I wore a heavy ear ring, I choose not to wear a necklace.
Here’s how I looked 🙂
Please share your thoughts on the style in comments. Let me know if the tips are helpful.
Time for preparing myself for marriage:
Decided to wear a lahenga on marriage ceremony. Since my lehanga was slightly heavy compared to the earlier sari I wore, I decided to straighten my hair and make a puff in front. To make it look more traditional, wore a maang tika. Since my ear-ring was not heavy, I wore a necklace too. Did some light eye make up because my lahenga color was already so bright.
Couple of pictures from the marriage, not having some good clicks.
You can also try this style.
Last year on my brothers engegement I wore same lahenga with different hairstyle and make up. And I wore gold jhumka which was very heavy. Here is a picture of that day.
Do let me know if you loved the style. Need your feedback to improve my styling posts 🙂 Eagerly waiting for your comments.
