Goafest 2017 dazzled audiences on Day 2 with interesting speakers from varied walks of life taking to the stage. The speakers for the day included none other than Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development, Smt. Maneka Gandhi, Sir Vivian Richards, KNH, OBE – Cricket Legend, and renowned film actor, Sanjay Dutt. But that’s not all, the evening brought the best of the creative minds together in the sweltering Goa heat for the Creative ABBYs.

The second day of Goafest 2017, India’s foremost advertising, media and marketing convention began with a stimulating Knowledge Seminar with Sanjay Nazerali of Carat and Spiritual Guru Shri Gaur Gopal Das. The highlight of the seminar was the launch of the industry initiative to Mitigate Violence Against Women, by Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development, Smt. Maneka Gandhi.

The excitement filled Day 2 of the festival further saw Rod Findley of C2K Communications and Celebrity Blogger Miss Malini taking to the stage for another riveting Knowledge Seminar.

Cricket Legend Sir Vivian Richards then took to the stage with Bollywood Superstar Sanjay Dutt for the Times Leadership Summit with Anand Narasimhan, Consulting Editor Times Now.

While the day was packed with interesting session, the enthusiasm of the attending delegates showed no sign of abating as everyone waited with bated breath for the announcement of the Creative ABBYs. The jury announced winners for categories including Radio, Radio Craft, Broadcaster ABBY, Brand Activation & Promotion, Public Relations, Print Craft, Branded Content & Entertainment and Direct. The Creative ABBYs saw an overwhelming participation from the advertising, media and marketing fraternity and saw people scrambling to on the second day of the festival to witness the awards ceremony.

With industry specific conclaves to expert seminars and ABBYs presentations, the Goafest ABBYs 2017 presented by the The Advertising Club and The AAA’ of I has once again seen the entire advertising and marketing community descend upon the pearly shores of North Goa to celebrate excellence in creativity across media platforms and genres.
