Look Modern, Feel Ethnic with Daksh by Lalita & Amit!

As fashion enthusiasts, team IFB is always on a lookout for pieces that speak style. Contemporary designs or traditional inspirations, we love it all! And when modern style is amalgamated with traditional inspiration, nothing ignites our fashionista soul more.

Lately we stumbled on one such collection that wasn’t only co-linear with our fashion aesthetics but also had us eye-popping! Contemporary designs with traditional silhouettes, some minimalism some extravagant, Daksh by Lalita and Amita has our heart! And since we are celebrating everything Ethnic and Fusion this month, we couldn’t resist giving you 5 pieces that we love from their exotic collection!

#1 First on our list is this Kathakali inspired Kaftan Dress. We were stunned at the first sight of this dress. Modern drapes, traditional eye catching design with minimalist backdrop, goodness of culture; this is all we need for a fashion forward evening! Did you notice that’s Raavan print?

#2 Second we have something for the guys who love to don Ethnic in style! This Casual Jacket, white kurta & Reja pant is from their latest “Reja-Nu” collection. Reja is an 8000 old Indian fabric, which according to Lalita Chaudhary hasn’t been worn for 250 years and the duo is recreating the magic of Reja through their handcrafted exotic Reja-wears! We are drooling over the yellow and ivory hand embroidery!

#3 Another exquisite piece from their “Reja-nu” collection tops our list! This handcrafted shrug-jacket made of Reja is perfect to wear over a tank top and ripped jeans for laid back lunches or over a white saree for that indo-western feel! Also the Haryanvi (we are guessing it) lady printed on the back give us the prefect desi-vibes. We are loving it!

Try out this mint green Angarkha with yellow pants with the hand-embroidery inspired from Haryanvi wall paintings. It is be a perfect fit of a groom-to-be, and every guy who is looking to up his sartorial game!

#5 Last on our list is the one we love the most! 😀 This trouser & top from Lalita and Amit Minakku collection speak both power dressing and ethnic to us! The extremely beautiful embroidery on the top inspired from crowns wore by kathakali dancers makes this outfit standout from the rest! We L-O-V-E the amalgamation of culture and trend. New age office wear maybe! 😀

We were so intrigued by Reja fabric that we dug deep into the collections of Daksh by Lalita and Amit and we found that Reja is processed from Raw Cotton and has the basic quality of cotton that means it can be worn both in winters and summer! Another reason to choose Reju-nu collection! 😀

That’s all for today folks! Stay tuned for our daily dose on #Ethnic and #Indo-Western all this month, exclusively on India Fashion Blogger! Until then stay sexy, stay Ethnic! 😀 xoxo
