Remember this badass quote from the iconic movie Sex and the City? 😀 Well I L-O-V-E this movie! 😀 And I am sure every other fashionista does too, because there’s no movie like a fashion movie! 😀

What to say, I am a self-confessed fashion cinephile. 😀 And as a masala movie buff when it comes to watching a movie anything that has even the hint of glitz and glamour is on my radar always. The thespian art combined with compelling plots, couture from Valentino, Louboutins and the likes, high street fashion, inside fashion stories, everything is love! 😀

Well if you are wondering what sways my heart and what makes my fashionista soul dance, here is a list of 10 brilliant, compelling, absolutely gorgeous and fashion inducing movies of all times for you to watch! They are pills of fashion, do watch them! 😀

1. Breakfast at Tiffany’s!
   Watch it for Audrey Hepburn and her iconic sense of style! Audrey Hepburn slays the role of New York City party girl Holly Golightly, who is in search of rich man to marry. Every scene from this movie is rage and a dressing sense that could kill!
2. The Devil wears Prada!
   Fancy seeing what an internship under a fashion editor looks like? Then you gotta watch this movie! The arrogance and class of Miranda Priestly, Editor-in-chief of a renowned fashion magazine and the transformation of her assistant, Andrea, into a chic fashionista is something irresistible!

3. Aisha!
   Being a desi fashionista how can I miss on desi fashion movies! For the first time in Bollywood there was a movie that was loved so much for its ecstatic fashion sense! Sonam Kapoor playing new age Jane Austen’s Emma, kills it on the screen with Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino and the likes and had us girls drooling over the single outfit she and her girl clan wore!
4. Cocktail!
   Another Bollywood flick known for its killing fashion sense! Deepika Padukone looks rad styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania. If you want to know how a bad girl style herself, go watch this movie!
5. Confessions of a Shopaholic!
   You know who made the word “Shopaholic” all cool among the fashion lovers? 😀 Watch this story of an obsessed shopaholic who wanted every gorgeous piece of fashion in her closet, relate much? And how she goes into debt while doing so and the terrific ways she came outta it.
6. Sex and the City Series!
   If you haven’t seen Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda flaunting those stylish high street ensembles on the screen in the quest of enjoying life, you haven’t actually seen anything! 2 movies developed from a series of same name made waves in the industry and had everyone go gaga over their style.
7. Coco before Chanel!
   See the terrific journey of a hat seller and a bar girl who later built the most iconic fashion kingdom, the brand Chanel! From her early age to her successful life, everything is so inspiring and fashion inducing. And oh did I tell you the movie won the internationally acclaimed Cesar award for best costume design. 😀
8. The September Issue!
   If you wonder what really goes behind the scene in the office of fashion magazine Vogue, then watch this documentary based on the undisputed fashion icon of the world Anna Wintour and her tryst with the even more iconic fashion magazine Vogue!
9. Khoobsurat!
   Time for another desi pick! 😀 Well Sonam Kapoor redefined style and glamour in fashion industry. Every outfit she wears becomes a style statement and the pretty woman slays in this movie with her chirpy, desi, modern, bright and colorful ensembles. Every outfit in the movie is new age treat to eyes! So take some inspiration maybe? 😀
10. Gossip Girl- American Drama Series!
    I know this ain’t a movie, but this phenomenal tv series ought to have a place on this list! American teen drama based on the novel of same name has been inspiring teenage fashionista (even adults) till date. Amalgamating timeless and modern fashion, two best friends Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) kill on the screen!
