Being a desi-fashionista I am a big fan of desi outfits, be it chic kurtis, 6 yard wonder- the Saree or anything Indian. But wearing lavishly designed Indian pieces comes with their own cons, like versatility, limited choices and don’t even get me started on maintenance. :/  I never hoarded Indian pieces for the same reason but of-late I have learnt to mix-match my Indian pieces and how to choose a piece that would be easily mixed and matched. So today I am sharing with you 5 traditional pieces that are so versatile that you can wear them multiple times, also the important tips on styling these pieces and more! So, read on and hoard away! 😀

1. Floral skirt-lehenga!

First on my list is this beautiful floral skirt lehenga! Reason I choose this first because of its trendy, eye-catching design and versatility. Style Tip: Wear it with a plain crop top for an Indo-western look or it a golden brocade choli and dupatta for completely Indian look. If you want a more edgy outfit, throw a long kurta with the skirt. So that’s 3 outfits from 1 skirt. Also you can change the crop top/choli to create more looks.

2. Sleeveless Jacket!

Second we have this black sleeveless jacket with exquisite embroidery. Now this, I feel, is the best piece of this list. You ask why? Because cannot only be worn with Indian outfits but with western outfits.
Style Tip: To create a western look wear it over a golden short dress or over your favorite LBD and you are done to rock a party. For an Indo-western look wear it over a crop top and a pair of palazzo pants or boot-cut jeans. For creating a glam Indian look, pair it up with your saree. For this look simply throw it over your sleeveless blouse or a bralette and wear it with saree! We are drooling already! 😀

3. Embroidered Crop Top!

Third we have this beautiful crafted crop top. Now Indian crop top is something that every girl should have because it can be used with so many looks, with a saree, palazzo, skirts, under a jacket and lot more!
Style tip: For completely Indian look wear it as a saree blouse and for western look wear it under your long jacket with a pair of palazzo pants!

   Next on our list is this multipurpose black pants. We call it multipurpose because it gives us liberty to style in so many ways. Always keep one such piece in your wardrobe and wear it endlessly.
   Style tip: For casual day look wear it with a plain white kurta. For glammed up look wear it with a crop top. For fuss-free festive nights with long asymmetric kurta!
