The royal wedding! A wedding that stopped the world from normalcy, given the Hollywood roots of Meghan Markel and the royalty of Prince Harry that brought together the chicest families of London. There were plenty of people watching out for the regalia of the hats and the gowns that graced the floors of the Windsor Castle. If you happened to run a picture of a Disney wedding parallel to that of the royal wedding, you might probably be confused over which was fantasy! Everyone, from the Beckhams to Oprah, not to forget our favourite child, Priyanka Chopra were in the guest list of the Royal Wedding. So here we are, talking about embellished meshes on the hat, spring outfits and all things regal!

1. MEGHAN MARKEL

How could we disregard the bride on her big day? Here is some love to the Duchess of Sussex on her big day! Markel donned a crisp white Givenchy couture gown for the nuptials. Although it had very simple frontier with absolutely no embellishments, the dress made a subtle statement of royalty with a rich tone of white. The wide bateau neckline, long sleeves, drop line with minimal makeup perfectly portrayed the elegance of the Duchess. The veil was beautifully held in place by the Queen Mary’s tiara. Her infinitely long trail of flower embellishments was elegantly laid out by the flower girls that the dress was literally the dream of every woman!

2. AMAL CLOONEY

The 40 year old fashionista exuded elegance in her Stella McCartney summery dress. The Canary yellow statement was the best dressed in the eyes of the Royal fans. The mustard yellow, cap-sleeved gown with a pencil skirt silhouette fabulously flattered her frame. The summer yellow pumps and fascinator added a splash of spring to the day!

3. CAREY MULLIGAN

Donning a floral Erdeem dress, Carey Mulligan was perfectly robed for a spring wedding. The “Doctor Who” star elegantly graced the wedding in a semi-shear nude dress with blossoms of multi-coloured floral embellishments; that artistically synced with her nude pumps.

4. KATE MIDDLETON

The Duchess of Cambridge cared not to upstage the bride on her big day, by opting for a subtle choice of fabric that she’d previously worn on many occasions. The creamy and pale Alexander McQueen dress beautifully blended with the iconic Philip Treacy floral hat and Jimmy Choo pumps. The Duchess was effortlessly fabulous!

5. PIPPA MIDDLETON

The 34 year old Middleton sibling celebrated the big day in a mint green dress paired with a pair of nude pumps. The long sleeved, clinging frock with a dash of cherry bosoms soon became a statement of mockery; with its design bearing close resemblance to the Arizona Iced Tea cans. However, the bomb shoes and the pale pink fascinator covered up for the fabric.

6. QUEEN ELIZABETH II

Despite being a 90 year old lady, she is still THE QUEEN! The Queen added a splash of vibrancy to the royalty. The Queen looked chic in the Stuart Parvin ensemble of semi-neon lime. The shower of purple flowers over the neon screamed – “I am the Queen”.

7. PRIYANKA CHOPRA

The Bollywood favorite had from California to be a part of her friend’s big day in lilac coordinates that beautifully blended with her tanned tone. PeeCee was regal in her Vivienne Westwood’s asymmetrically collared blazer and a knee length skirt, perfectly tailored to her figure. Apart from the dramatic Philip Treacy hat, it was her Cinderella shoes that stole the show! The Jimmy Choo pumps with unsymmetrical straps of crystal drops showered some intrigue amongst the onlookers! Although the cutesy heels were a lot of work, it seemed to tight for the little pinky toe of PeeCee.

8. OPRAH WINFREY

Her blush two-tiered pick was a last moment resort instead of her actual dress that turned out to be too white for the occasion. The viscose knit by Stella McCartney with nude pumps and ivory hat was a royal delight. Not to forget the dainty nude purse on her hand! Her ethereal style in the lace trimmed dress is a not-miss.

9. THE BECKHAMS

The Beckhams always steal the show and the royal wedding is no exception! The chicest couple in town are aging backwards. Despite her lifeless demeanour at the wedding, her dark navy frock and beautifully combed brunettes under a netted hat had our hearts.  This smock piece with its statements sleeves beautifully blended with the contrasting red pumps.

10. SERENA WILLIAMS

The tennis champ slayed in a blush-pink Versace couture, beautifully swept at her waist. Her poised look gracefully complemented the statement neck piece that everyone couldn’t take their eyes off. After all, who would expect an athletic champ to walk down the chapel in such finesse?
