The 5-day fashion extravaganza ended on October 11 with a bang. The Grand Finale of the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016 saw 16 brilliant and celebrated designers coming together to create magic on the runway and to revive the brio of textile of Banaras.

The Grand Finale collection, named ‘Born in Banaras’, presented the rich heritage and culture of Banaras with the breathtaking Banarasi fabrics in rich hues of  red, green, blue, yellow, black and cream. All the 16 designers retold the tales of Banaras with each one of them presenting three ensembles revolving around one of those color palettes inspired by the religious city.
