Lately everything Indian and indo-western is on my mind and it reflects on my blog posts too, you guys already know I have been trying Indian outfits more than ever! For same reason I have been finding clothes and designers that speak my sensibilities. Recently I came across one breathtaking clothing line that defines Indian-Western amalgamation perfectly for me!
Daksh by Lalita and Amit is a clothing line that revives Reja fabric. Origin of Reja dates back to centuries ago but it hasn’t been used for decades now. The duo Amit and Lalita are creating some breathtakingly beautiful, all handmade and hand-printed fusion clothes from Reja and I couldn’t be more impressed!
So I took my 5 top picks from their Reja-nu collection and I have styled them for you. So if you like to wear western with Indian twist, watch out! These clothes are just for you!
Jumpsuit by Reja-nu
My first pick is this lovely jumpsuit! I love wearing jumpsuit because they are fuss free and ever stylish and when they are made of goodness of Indian fabric, they are definitely on my list. Hence this pastel beauty with blue floral print.
Co-ord by Reja-nu
Next I love this co-ord set in berry and beige. The beige tone gives the perfect Indian fabric feel and the berry colored pants compliment the beige so well! It has become my go-to outfit now! I don’t even remember how many times I have worn it. #Confession 😀
Short skirt by Reja-nu
Again a berry pick! I love this short skirt by Reja-nu. It’s so versatile it can be worn with so many colors. Wear it with plain white tee for casual day look and it with black top for a party night look. Thus checking all the boxes!
Indo-western Dress by Reja-nu
I love having a dress that has both western and Indian elements. So this color block dress was an obvious pick for me. The structure and cut gives a feel of western while the fabric and camel print is so Indian. Can’t decide it its more Indian or western but none the less I love it!
Pastel Lehenga by Reja-nu
This lehenga is my last and favorite pick from the reja-nu handloom collection. This is a perfect lehenga that aint overly embroidered or designed unlike other stuff present in the market. Also it has the most beautiful exquisite embroidery on the hemline and belt of the lehenga. I am truly amazed how one can wear it from day to night. And oh, the pastel colour with playful prints! Love at the first sight!
Hope you liked the dresses and how I styled them. You can see more of reja-nu inspiration here on my blog: https://indiafashionblogger.com/look-modern-feel-ethnic-daksh-lalita-amit/
