I am not a fan of Romedy now and always yearn for stories that excites me. Unfortunately, Allied proved to be a very straightforward romantic movie with an ending which was too predictable that I almost predicted that this would not happen.

Don’t get me wrong, acting of Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard was no doubt a treat to watch. Marion was impressive in a character that was playing a dual character in life. You could easily sense the uncertainty in the body language and Brad pitt as usual charmed the women in his loving husband character.

Unfortunately, such wonderful acting was not supported by a strong story, screenplay did justice however and tried it’s best to hold a story with very little meat.

Would rate it 3/5, only because of Brad and Marion beautiful chemistry. Not a must watch, go only if you’ve nothing else to do this weekend.
