The God of Cricket and Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 44th birthday today.He captured the attention of fans from all around the world and even after his retirement he continues to do so. It’s been 4 years since he played international cricket and Master Blaster is still very popular among fans and fellow cricketers.

Sachin Tendulkar was the the youngest Indian to play county cricket, the first batsman to score 10,000 runs (which he did in his 266th match in 2001) and the first batsman to score a double century in the history of ODI cricket & also the first person without an aviation background to be awarded the honorary rank of Group Captain by the Indian Air Force.

He is on top of the run scoring chart even after retiring. In international cricket he made 34,357 runs in which is more than any other batsman in the world.

He is currently with the Mumbai Indians team as their “icon” in IPL 2017.
