After two exciting days at Bangalore Fashion Week, it’s time for day o3. I was already excited after the day 1 gave no double thought on coming today.
Day 03 showcased Anvita Thakkar, Radhika & Sudarshan, Sony Reddy, Ashok Maanya, Ramesh Dembla and Monapali.
The designs are labelled as wow 18. These are for youngsters who want uniqueness in their dressing. Collections had different style of crop top with skirt combos and beautiful frock dresses. Loved the palettes of gold and white used in different designs. Anvita Thakkar looked chic in a white colored jumpsuit.
Radhika & Sudarshan
The designs are looking like scattered petals coming out of the particular five-petal flowers, petals converting into flowers and abstract-flowers scribble art. The colours are light and soothing. Usage of scarf in some dresses was really beautiful. The crop top/ pant combo was looking very different with transparent scarf. Some collection had pallazo which was giving a princess look. Floral style frocks was also amazing. Radhika looked chic in her maxi dress.
Sony Reddy
She is based of Hyderabad, the city well known for its pearls and that’s what inspired her designs. The fabrics used are net, rawsilk, crepe, tussar and georgette. The collection included some very beautiful sarees and lehenga choli. All the models where looking very beautiful in in an awesome collections of lehenga choli and choli. Different color combinations like Creme with pink, neon with yellow etc was really commendable.
Lakshmi Manchu a well known film actress walked as a show stopper. She was wearing a simple yet elegant orange and yellow colored lahenga choli.
Ashok Maanya
Ashok Maanya collection showcased the theme “THE REGALIA” dedicated to his highness, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar. Collection are giving traditional look. I generally don’t like to wear sarees but after watching these collection, my love for sarees is coming back.
Ashok also had some very good men collections as well.
For Ashok Kriti Karbanda walked as a showstopper, she was looking ravishing in a Red saree with a golden blouse. The hard work was showing in the form of glow on the face of Ashok Maanya, he was wearing safari shirt with black pant and wrapped himself with beautiful shawl.
Ramesh Dembla showcased a stygian and a urban collection with a unique concept of elegance.
I became mad after seeing my favourite color (black) designs. It was my favourite collections at Bangalore Fashion week. Transparent and non transparent concept of the designer was so unique and original.
Mens collections was too good. The black jacket combo with black shirt and pant gave a royal look.
“Priyanka Upendra” walked for Ramesh. I personally love his all collections. Such an awesome blend of Indian and Western culture.
Monapali closed the day by weaving the world of illusion to create their collection at the DF Silverline Bangalore fashion week 13th Edition. Mind blowing collections of Mona Pali end the day.
The shows was no doubt very awesome, however designers entry was way way cute. Mona Lamba and Pali Sachdeva designs are really heart touching. The designers thoughts are so opposite from their age. I don’t think any youngster will not love their designs.
