Five steps to get this Princess look of India Fashion Blogger

You don’t need a crown to be a princess

I attended my brother’s marriage couple of months back and being his sister, I was sure every eyes would be on me. I never imagined to call this a princess look, but that’s what everyone complemented me as. Since so many people said, I am looking like a princess, that’s what I named this OOTD.

Sharing how I got this look:-

gold dhoti

1. Ridhima Bhasin Golden Dhoti –

I wore Ridhima Bhasin Golden Dhoti while not burning a hole in my pocket. I happened to stumble upon this startup Swishlist.in who have an amazing collection of designer wears. If you are looking to wear some designer dresses in a party or an event, Swishlist is the place to go for. I was skeptical at first, but the kind of support Swishlist guys gave me and the quality of clothes they had was amazing.  At Swishlist you can rent designer dresses rock in it at the function and return it next day to them. They offer complete pick & drop, so you don’t have to move at all. Awesome I would say.

I rented this golden dhoti from Swishlist site.

If you don’t want to rent the dhoti, you can get it custom stitched.

2. Choli-

This golden choli was designed by me, there was a red color pypin; so I wore red net dupatta with the choli. Choli was backless so you have to clean your back and belly. Also I added heavy latkan to give that extra glam to the backless part of the dhoti. Tell me if you loved my design or not ?

3. Accessories-

Over all my dress was not so heavy, so I decided to wear heavy and non-tradional accessories. I wore Golden colored beaded belt, stylish hair accessory and golden jhumka with a simple light necklace.

4. Shoes-

In this dress my feet was completely visible, but at the same time I needed to walk a lot and in such cases you’ve to wear one of your trusted shoes.I wore my golden colored beaded high heel sandals, in these sandals there are beads on heels too, this brings that extra bling look. If you are comfortable you should go for heavy looking sandals with high pointed heels.

5. Make up and hairstyle-

Made a high puff hairstyle accessorized with a hair accessory that fits completely. Had a very light make-up with golden lipstick and eyelashes.

Here is complete look …. If you love this look, you can comment in the thread below.
