The 71st edition of the annual Cannes Film Festival had been held from 8th to 19th May 2018. With Cate Blanchett as the president of the jury, earlier the event was in the highlight of everyone’s talk. (If it wasn’t the highlight for you, first of all, why? Second of all, why?)

The event celebrates the film industry like there is no tomorrow. Celebrities, actors and actress from across the globe witness the festival and bejewel it with glamour and beauty. With the onset, Bollywood is no less when it comes to being chic and appealing to the eyes. Here are some of the top looks by Bollywood actresses with which they nailed the walk to the carpet.
Cannes is all about extravaganza. Our beloved former Miss World ensued for the red carpet along with her little girl, Aaradhya. On Saturday, Ash wore a beautiful mermaid silhouette, extravagant peacock-print sequinned dress with a low-cut neckline and an attached long train of the beautiful flair. The gown had shades of violet, red and blue threadworks and was embellished in Swarovski crystals and French paillettes.
A post on Michael Cinco’s official Instagram page read, “The 10-foot long train took 3,000 of man-hours to finish and intricately handcrafted to make it this exquisitely flighty and timeless,”
With her hair open and the glinting highlighted eyes, her face was nothing less than a treat to watch and get mesmerized with. She decided to go for a full brow and red lipstick to compliment the dress. I have to say, she has the mother-glow all over that pretty face of her!

For her esteemed second appearance on the red carpet, our bold former queen rocked the Rami Kadi dressmaking with every ounce of elegance she had. The dress was just too beautiful to put in words.

Her hair tied up in a bun and accessorized blended perfectly with the white gown she put on. The boss lady not only made the paparazzi go frenzy, but also made her daughter proud by stealing the show!

This festival is one of the most awaited events for fashion lovers all across the globe and many Bollywood heartbeats have been attending it for the past many years. Taken the paparazzi by a surprise, Huma didn’t bother with the gown this time.
Known for her bold features, Huma was not the one to be left behind in the beauty chase. Not the gown but she decided to rock the Cannes with a pair of beige pants and coat, ditching the traditional outfit. Although she did receive mixed reviews….
Forget about them! Look at her, man!
The beautiful glinting necklace wrapped around her perfectly and complimented the attire successfully! Her open hair and nude make up were the last things she needed, just to put the cherry on the top with her formal pantsuit.

Don’t do it unless you know how to win and Deepika made sure she won the fashion game! While Ash was winning hearts with her attire, Deepika was no less than chic. She has been nailing the walks lately and all for good reason. If being sexy was a crime, she’d be sentenced to life imprisonment in no time! The crowd went bonkers for her pink coloured gown with drag frill and swirling flair of pure beauty. Indeed, she looked like a fairy, a hot one at that. With that winged liner and diamond earrings to add on to her beauty, she looked no less than a goddess.
Her hair tied in a bun and eyes smokier than the night sky, Deepika indeed looked like an angel.

Looks like Deepika was equipped with just the right attire for the event. It seemed, Huma wasn’t the only one to ditch the tradition. Deepika has always proven to be a bold actress who doesn’t fret from experimenting with her looks, maxing it on top.
Our beloved Veronica opted for a violet pantsuit, making every head turn in admiration. She dared to try and succeeded with an ace. Her formal look was completed by her sleek, centre parted hair and her drama loaded Smokey eyes and nude lips. Her upcoming looks are most awaited.

Looks like gowns are back in town and Deepika got the memo. She decided to go for a see-through gown which made the headlines for the fashion newspapers as soon as she walked in. Seemingly, she beat herself in the game of fashion. Her first red carpet appearance for the year 2018 at Cannes, she stunned the audience overshadowing all her previous appearances till now. Her see-through sleeveless white gown hugged her perfect curves while the neckline bejewelled the dress further.

Beaded in white glistening stones and floral leaves all over, the matching cape straight out of the heart and soul of designer Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2018 Bridal Collection, the outfit was a show and a heart stealer!

Perhaps, the queen of Bollywood was the last person I had expected to fall behind in the chase for fashion and indeed, she didn’t disappoint. My queen is not at all the person to shy away from showing off some skin. Be it fashion movie or movie fashion.
Not convinced? Well, Kangana shook us all with the dramatic yet beautiful outfit which, to be modest, left little to the imagination. When she hit the carpet on Friday, her revealing jumpsuit from Nedret Taciroglu, she was clearly taking her fashion seriously. Finishing her glittery look with some Smokey eye.
Kwweeennnn you got this! Let the lady rock them natural curls, just the way she did to complete her look.

Cannes has been a platform to express your fashion statement and let the beauties be their best. Bollywood has again made its mark on the festival. Kangana, as said before, has never shied away from showing away some skin. For her debut at as she chose a dull greyish sheer crystal embellished gown with a trail of beautiful work crafted by Zuhair Murad. Bragging her sculpted arms in her sleeveless crystal gear, it seemed like the prettiest of stars were sitting on that cloth which wrapped around her.

She breathtaking look was completed with beads, tinsels and glitters along with the matted lips and a light-toned eye-shadow which matched perfectly with her full brows. He natural curls were pinned back to present the minimum volume and maximum style.
