5 different ways to style a black kurti!

Sometimes, we run out of outfits and find absolutely nothing to wear. What are we supposed to do then? Sit still and chill out, because this is when the black kurti comes to rescue. A black kurti is something every woman has in her wardrobe. There are numerous ways to wear a simple black kurti. Here are my five favourite, easy yet elegant ways to style a plain black kurti. Give a glance!

1.Classy denim look

The first way of styling a plain black kurti is by pairing it with a denim bottom. A plain black kurti worn in combination with a blue skin fit ankle length denim would look classy and super stylish. However, there are people who love black on black and this doesn’t disappoint them at all. Any denim would go perfect with this one. You can turn the look into indo-western by adding proper jhumkas or any Indian traditional jewelry. This outfit will serve all the purposes : lunch, brunch, family picnic, evening date and anything. It’s a perfect and simple way to slay on any occasion!

2.Pair with a coat or blazer

Kurti with a coat is perfect for festive occasions and it never goes out of style. This can be done in two ways. The first look is indo-western one : pairing a black kurti with a denim and an embellished coat. This looks supercool and pretty much celebrityish. The second one is the ethnic one: pairing with patiyala and a coat. This one is a perfect traditional way to style a black kurti. Nonetheless, both the ways look fabulous when a perfect coat is added.I personally love the ethnic blazer style coats of dim shades to pair with a black kurti. If you don’t like to pair with a coat, you can go for a cape as well. Capes are super in-trend and stylish. Sheer ones are the best to pair with a black kurti.

3. Play with different bottoms

If you aren’t an ethnic lover, this is the right option for you. You can pair a black kurti with numerous kinds of bottoms and it would look incredible on any one. Striped bottoms, culottes, palazzos, harem pants and multiple more to choose from. This is the perfect way to look trendy even while wearing a kurta. This outfit is very comfortable and perfect for all day work. The indo-western style looks absolutely edgy and flawless.

4.Black kurti with a skirt

This kind of look would be greatly impressive for you if you’re running out of outfits for a wedding or any grand occasion. It’s so much fun as well. Pick any of your favourite skirt, preferably coloured one and wear it with your straight cut black kurti. You’ll be amazed to see the way the outfit turns out. You can go all the way from any of the plain printed skirts to the embellished ones according to your style and occasion. It’s a quick, brilliant and effortless way to style a simple plain black kurti. You’ll love the swap of the look!

5. Adorable dupatta style

This is my favourite way to style out of all these five ways. For this look you need not worry about the cut of the kurti as this works for any cut ones and pleated ones as well. You just have to wear black bottom with the kurti and then comes the most fun part. Pick a contrasting dupatta of any color or design and pair with the suit. This brings the perfect ethnic style and I absolutely love it. You can pick the dupatta as abstract as possible. I personally love styling with kalamkari and banarasi silk dupattas as they uphold the ethnic vibes pluperfectly!
