5 good books to read

“I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.”

Hola guys! Hope you are doing well and yes I am fantastic here in Goa. 🙂 After a number of travel and fashion blog post, today I am sharing “5 good books to read”, these books help me a lot in my tough phases. No doubt! I am a book lover lady too. 😀

“The books we read answer questions we didn’t even know existed.”

I agree that everyone doesn’t love reading, but guys sometime most of the answers to your doubts in life can only be answered in a book. So I will suggest my lovely readers that you at least read one book a month. 🙂 Here are 5 books that I loved to read:-

1. The Secret-

The Secret is a best-selling 2006 self-help book written by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the law of attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased happiness, health, and wealth. It has attracted a great deal of controversy and criticism for its claims, and has been parodied on several TV programs.

When I was in 12th grade I started suffering from problems like low confidence, fear of failure in competitive exams, ignorance from family etc. Because of such thoughts I reached a state where I lost interest in life, if I fail in my competitive exam then nobody will love me. But at the right moment I got this book from my brother. After reading the book my thoughts changed. I can’t explain how much this book helped me in overcoming the negative thinking generated by my mind. 😀

2. The magic of thinking big-

The book which instructs people to set their goals high and think positively to achieve them. The author gives a step-by-step guide on how to achieve what one wants by changing their thought patterns and thought habits.

After my college I started working in bank, but after first 2 years I was feeling very bored with my day job and I didn’t even knew the reason. I was so confused but by God grace I got this book and it really helped me in finding my goals in my life, now I know what I want to do in my carrer. Now, I have a clear goal in my life and have a proper plan to achieve that goal. Yo Yo 😀

3. The Road less travelled-

This book is written by Dr. Scott Peck’s based on his lectures and experiences, which he has expanded, co-edited, and transformed into a unified and compelling presentation of his ideas and insights. In this work, Dr. Peck addresses urgent questions of personal and spiritual growth, including blame and forgiveness, the issue of death and meaning, self-love versus self-esteem, and sexuality and spirituality. The book takes us from the first step in the spiritual journey, “Growing Up,” to the next step, “Knowing Yourself,” to the ultimate step, “In Search of a Personal God.” An inspirational book, this work is a journey of self-discovery as well as an enlightening examination of the complexities of life and the paradoxical nature of belief.

Yes! this book is based on human psychology. It’s a wonderful book if you are suffering from low esteem or/and depression. I went through multiple level of depressions in my life and for most of the part I never knew I am depressed. When you are single you suffer from that problem individually but after marriage your partner also suffer from that problem and that is very painful.

And when you see your loved ones suffering because of your thoughts then you have to work hard to get rid of the issues. After marriage some of my thoughts which was not noticeable when I was single, became major problem. By God grace I have a supportive partner. Gaurav supported me a lot for which I will be grateful till end. With all his support and this book (Suggested by Gaurav’s company CEO Rahul) I am able to overcome some of my issues. Still I am suffering but now atleast I know that there is problem and I have to accept and solve it. 🙂

4. Don’t sweat the small stuff-

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff is a book that tells you how to keep from letting the little things in life drive you crazy. In thoughtful and insightful language, author Richard Carlson reveals ways to calm down in the midst of your incredibly hurried, stress-filled life.

Sometimes we get stuck in a problem which usually have no significance and waste a lot of time thinking about it.This book really helped me in learning on “how to keep distance from small things which drive you  crazy.”

5. Follow your heart-

The name of the book is already showing which type of book is this.I am writing this post after an hour of finishing this book. 🙂 You’ll be hooked to the book like a comics.

Hope you loved the post, and would love to hear from you that which book you are going to read first.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Soon I will be here with my new blog post, till then Stay healthy Stay beautiful. <3
