Our #EthnicMonth is almost coming to an end and since our Ethnic posts got so much love, we decided to bring you more get-the-look festive inspiration. This time we are giving you all the inspiration you need to be a BRIDESMAID! Think OOTDs filled with pretty outfits for all elaborated wedding ceremonies, eye-catching jewellery, hands-on style tips and everything Bridesmaid!

And today for our very first #Bridesmaid Lookbook OOTD we have this beautiful day time handloom saree look! Read below how to get this look!

With increasing inclination to saree globally it will be a little unfair to not give traditional saree a try this wedding season. And as a person who is forever smitten by the traditional fabrics and silhouettes, I decided to don a handloom saree for my sister-in-law’s Mat Mangara ceremony, which is a ceremony held to embark the wedding celebrations!

From plethora of fabrics to choose from, I went with this Reja saree from Daksh’s Reja-nu collection. If you have read my previous post, you would know my obsession with Reja fabric. This saree is cream in color and has exquisite red embroidery on the border hence making a perfect pick for a day function. Also the saree aint very heavy so it made running errands quite easy.

I paired up the saree with sleeveless Reja crop top because I wanted to give it a modern look as well. The crop top fgoes perfectly with the saree and also enhances the entire look!

Since I wanted my saree to stand out I kept my jewellery minimal. I wore a sleek gold chain and layered it with a long pearl chain. For ear I went with gold drop earring complimenting my gold chain. As my saree had red detailing and I wore a sleeveless blouse I completed off my look with loads of red bangles and gold bracelet. This gave a color pop to my look! Also I succumbed to wearing two gold finger-rings! 😛

To take this look from day to night, I threw a jacket form Reja-nu collection over my saree when it started to get cold in the evening. I didn’t want to drape a shawl over hence the jacket in the same fabric came really handy. I love the indo-western feel of this jacket; if you have checked my last post on Reja-nu you would know the jacket is one of my favorite from Daksh’s Reja-nu collection! And also jackets on the sarees are the new cool!

For make-up I went with my signature minimal look with light foundation, heavily kohled eyes, bold red lips and a red bindi to give it a traditional feel!
