Pre and post workout skincare routine!

In this world of super perfect body, almost every girl hits the gym. Who doesn’t want a flawless and a clear skin? Exercise can surely give you that healthy skin. But the sweat and dust can clog the pores and trigger breakouts if we don’t follow a proper skin regimen pre and post workout.

PRE-WORKOUT SKIN CARE:

1- Do not forget to wash your face before exercising. Make sure you don’t have any makeup on as the sweat mixes with the makeup and can clog the pores. Basic thing is to let the skin free, so that it is free to sweat and give you a healthy glow.

2-If at all you are exercising outdoors, then use a sunscreen only if it is too sunny. Otherwise the morning sun is good for your skin.

3-Don’t touch your face too much as your hands may have a lot of germs which may lead to skin irritation and can be a hurdle to your clear skin. Use a fresh napkin. I suggest keep wet tissue wipes that awakens your skin and is hygienic too.
If you are at the gym, avoid touching your face as the bacteria on the equipment may get transferred to your face causing breakouts.

POST-WORKOUT SKIN CARE:

1-Use a clean towel to wipe your face and neck. Take a good shower  and cleanse well. As being in the sweaty clothes for a long time can lead to clogged pores and body acne.

2-Once the face is clean, follow the normal skin care routine by applying a toner followed by a moisturizer that re-hydrates the skin. 8 simple morning skincare routine you shouldn’t miss.

3-Drink loads of water as it is good for the skin and helps in weight loss too. It basically is a mantra to a clear skin.
Make sure the sunscreen and the toner, moisturizer suits your skin as using inappropriate products may lead to acne prone skin.
So girls, I hope this helps you to maintain a proper skincare routine pre and post your workout. Workout hard and look healthy with a clear and flawless skin.
Take care.
