So it’s the IIFA season and I know each one of us waiting impatiently watch our stars set the green carpet on fire.The IIFA is one place where fashion is celebrated with pride. It’s the place where our clothes speak volumes and where trends are born. I know its hard waiting for it so in the meantime let’s look back at some of the enchanting princess moments of our dear desi girls Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

YEAR :2012

Elegance is something that dwells on the inside. Priyanka has been redefining it since forever. She painted the carpets while walking in this absolute gorgeous dress. The dress is bound by lace with delicate flowers of white and gold which gives the dress a floral twist. The dress also has small polka dots all over the skirt which gives it a fresh look. She has her hair curled and tied in a simple yet classy bun with a slight bump in her crown region.She has accessorised the dress with an ethnic earring with white beads to match the dress.And as usual she has used soft subtle makeup and highlighters for the shimmering effect.

Priyanka has been consecutively stealing hearts with her looks. She went a lighter shade with gold details. The dress had gold weaved leaves and petals all over the flow. And also had embossed patterns in the body.  The slight beige-pink dress took ages to fade from our memory.She had her hair in a classic tight bun. She also wore a simple stud and a bracelet with a huge stone that went along with the dress.Her makeup looked simple with kohl smudgy eyes. She also wore a slight thicker shade of pink on her lips to go with the dress.

Well, when it comes to going shoulder less nothing can beat Priyanka. Priyanka went box cut shoulder less dress with abstract marble patterns. The cyan blue cast a spell on the viewers. The dress had a large black rose printed on the body. The dress looked absolutely like a painted canvas. The dress was paired with cyan pumps to match the patterns. And Priyanka rolled out with bangs this year. She had her hair into a topknot and bangs. She wore a slightly long earring which was like the frosting on a cake.Her makeup was light and she wore a shade of rich red on her lips.

Looks like no one can wear pink more elegantly as Priyanka. This year Priyanka went in tonnes of pink. The dress was drench with rhinestones. The neck is silver lined with exclusive stones. And the lines run throughout the dress in lace and stones. She has done her hair so lusciously in a bob. Her hair is curled half way and compliments her jaw line. Her make up is done lightly and she has used rich maroon on her lips which creates a bold look.

YEAR : 2016 

Priyanka Chopra went off limits this year going totally purple.Well, the goddess has officially taken shades of pink to a new level. She wore a lacy dress with ruffles around the neck and lacy stripes. The dress is completely plain yet it catches our eyes like magic. She had her hair tied tight into a sleek elegant bun. She accessorised her dress in a sleek fashion. She wore a big diamond earring and a huge stoned finger ring. Her makeup was bright and bold. She wore luscious bright purple pink shade on her lips which pumped the whole outfit.

Deepika Padukone :

YEAR : 2016

Deepika turned set the carpet on fire wearing this sizzling red dress. The thigh high slit sure did jaw drops revealing her sexy legs. The one shouldered dress was perfectly made for her. The crimson dress lit the place and made the floors shake. She let her hair down casually and wore highlighted makeup with shimmering brightness. Her bold makeup was finished with bright red lip shade. She wore big earrings dropping down her shoulder which polished her outfit.

This look of Deepika stunned everyone. She wore this rich crop top embellished with a million stones throughout. The top was completely bedazzled and caught everyone’s eyes and it was paired with a jet black pant skirt which soothed the Rhine stone effect. Her hair was tied high with a puff and her makeup was neat and matte. She wore the outfit with jet black pointy pumps.Well, for the accessory part the top did its part well taking care of it.

Deepika redefined the beauty of gold. She flooded the carpets with her beauty as she walked in this heaven made dress. The dress looks like it is out of the tales that our grandmothers narrated about angels and goddesses in heaven. The dress looked dipped in gold every inch. It looked hand weaved and bedazzled all way through. She wore her hair in a bun and furnished the look with a matte finished make-up. She wore rich wine shade with sheer perfection. She wore long stone studded gold earrings with it.And the shimmer effect made her look bathed in gold and beauty.

Deepika sparked the stage in this pale pink wrap dress. The floral pattern look hand weaved every bit. The thigh slit dress gave it a totally sexy yet elegant look. The peach fabric complimented her complexion. Her hair was worn as a bun with a bump and she wore a bright peachy shade on her lips. And her make up was casual highlights. Her hair was rolled up into a big bun  and created a modern Audrey Hepburn look.She wore nude makeup with casual highlights which blended with the outfit.

Deepika went totally angel this year growing her own pair of bedazzled wings. She wore a cape weaved delicately which mesmerised the whole town. She wore a beige bralette top  and a lehenga skirt which bore breathtaking embroidery all over the body. Her hair was partitioned and worn as a tight pony tail. She wore smudgy eye make up with thick kohl and emerald neck piece which stole the show. She looked absolutely dazzling as she ramped the stage.
