Bangalore Fashion Week Day 04

And we arrived at the Finale of Bangalore Fashion Week; Day o4 started with dream zone students and was followed by Govind Kumar Singh, Nisha Natarajan, Amita Gupta Kaur, Chintal & Maneka, Snapdeal and Rina Dhaka. I can say I had a good time with friends, I felt like I was home.

Govind Kumar Singh

The collection that reflected the designer’s deep thought into the power to the human body. Various experimental textures, silhouettes, colors, and patterns. The material is a reuse of the industrial waste, recycled materials and other organic elements. The collection follows the pattern where all the emotions and colors merge and finally result into an elaborate white garment that represents the ultimate stage of enlightenment. The beautiful Angana Roy walked the ramp for this talented designer.

Amita Gupta Kaur

Amita Gupta showcased her collection “Gothic Love With Cathedral”. This collection was inspired by Gothic Geometric architecture used in Cathedrals and is all about Western and Indian drapes in Sarees and Gowns. Collection was totally focussed on christian community and had some jaw dropping bridal gowns. I have added that in my must buy collection.

Green Paradize by Chintal & Maneka

A collection showcasing great fusion with Ethnic Wear. The collections are inspired by the Indian Traditional Lehenga Choli and the western gowns. It takes inspiration from Indian traditional and western gown with innovative inspired design for ethnic fusion.

I was surprised to see how young Chintal and Maneka were. Young and confident when they come on stage, I was confident they’d great in their career.

Snapdeal

Snapdeal was definitely not a silent supporter/sponsor of this fashion week. I never saw anyone putting their skin in game like snapdeal did. Started my experience with the booth they had (gave an interview to them) to be shot for the streetstyle to the fashion show on 4th day. Suddenly, Snapdeal name brings a completely different brand image in my mind.

Snapdeal fashion show had a lot of freshness in it, breaking away from traditional ramp walk; they had a different rhythm and models had a good time on the ramp. We even had a bi-cycle on the ramp.

Audience also got a chance to click selfies with the model: i also clicked one 🙂

The ramp was really rocked by street style of snapdeal collections. Loved the collections.

Rina Dhaka

And it was the time of finale, while I hoped for a much larger and grand finale; Rina collections left me wanting much more. Her designs with a hint of pink was eye catching. She had some awesome collections of evening dresses and mixed matched them well between ethnic and evening gowns.

Beautiful Prettika Rao walked for Rina, you can identify Prettika from serial Beintehaa
