It could not get any more exciting! Opening Show by Varun Bahl
Designer Varun Bahl opened AIFW AW 2016 with his show named âNocturnâ, and what an opening show was it! He played around with motifs, plenty of different textures, sheer layers, earthy tones and what not! But one thing that dominated his collection was flower power. The collection was filled with beautiful floral prints and patchworks, carefully telling a story of a modern woman. Take a peek at his collection below!
Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta
Think winter layering, steel-shades, minimalistic with bright stripes all packed up in structured aand un-structured silhouettes! Yes that pretty much sums up what we witnessed at Gaurav Jai Gupta show at AIFW AW 2016. A collection that spread fusion vibes with pants with asymmetrical capes and jackets, short kaftans, uneven palazzo and everything you would want for winters. Take a look below!
Hemant & Nandita
Want to feel like a glamour goddess wrapped up in winter beauty? Head to Hemant and Nanditaâs collection Dark Enchantress to feel the magic! The collection was all about wintery hues (deep reds, charcoal greys, warm earthy) with tinge of gold, bronze and copper that lightens up the bomber jacket, fur coats, pleated skirts and everything you need this winters! <3 See some of his designs below!
Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan
Well we were eagerly waiting for this particular show to start! You ask why? Where would you get a perfect blend of quirky, edgy and stylish clothing all set to give winters a makeover? Pallavi Mohan like always surpassed our expectations and we canât wait to get our hands on this beauty of a collection. Nor so serious prints and brooches FTW!
Shantanu & Nikhil
The dream walked in on the ramp at the Shantanu and Nikhilâs show at AIFW AW 2016! <3 Quintessential collection in whites, cream and pastel for the elegance and red for the drama. We were swayed by the exquisite designs including tulle and full skirts, ruffles, emperor capes and everything royal and classy! Take a peek below!

Red and pastel seems like a dominating combination this winter and Kiran Uttam Ghosh just did it right! Her collection at AIFW AW 2016 flaunts the sense of modern bride with exquisite piece of art that her clothes are!
