The tinsel towns biggest fashion party is here- The Met Gala 2017. It is an annual fundraising event for the benefit of Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York. The gala night has a theme based on the Institute’s exhibition and Hollywood celebrities mix, match, create and personify their fashion in accordance. The Gala2017 was themed ‘Rei Kawakubo/ Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between’ celebrating Rei Kawakubo, the Japanese designer who found the label Comme des Garcons.

Met Gala 2017 was a huge affair for India this year. B-town beauties Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra made their debut in the events guest list with Hollywood who’s who like Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Jenifer Lopez, The Weeknd and Selena Gomez, Hadid sisters, Jenner-Kardashian clan, Hugh Jackman, Pharrell Williams, Matt Damon and more. The duo was at the event for their Hollywood collaborations and movies, and especially to represent the Indian fraternity on International grounds. The xXx: Return of Xander Cage star slip into a subtle vanilla feeling in Tommy Hilfiger silk ivory dress with a plunging neck line and a barely there back line, showcasing her flawless body. To add elegance Deepika wore an embellished hair accessory, dangling statement earrings, winged eyeliner and nude lips. On the other hand, the Quantico actress chose a sexy Ralph Lauren number. An over sized trench coat with a thigh high slit and a dramatic long train, paired with holographic earrings, a top knot, metallic eyes and brown lips. Both our B-town beauties looked jaw dropping at the red carpet, turning all heads towards them.
