“Every day is a fashion show, and the world is the runway.”
Hola Guys!
I am so excited to write this post as I am back in Goa after Fgali’s event in Mumbai and I can’t wait to share experiences of my first ever ramp walk. Yayy! 😀 Fgali, an amazing footwear brand, held its second edition of the event Flaunt The Fashion for a cause in Mumbai on January 27th. The grand fashion show is organized every year to celebrate the people across India who are learning to read and write regardless of their age. All the proceeds of the event are donated to schools which provide free education to people. Also, this time there was an EXCLUSIVE LAUNCH of new range of their high heels and wedges. It was an event filled with fashion models, bloggers wearing the apparels of famous designer brands and showcasing the fresh Fgali’s footwear.
I got the invitation for the event a few weeks back, but I could not make it to their rehearsals as they were going on from 16th and I was continuously travelling. But I decided to go for the event anyway as I was super excited for my first ramp walk. I got all my things in a hurry. Go check out my post on what one do should before their first ramp walk, you know it all comes from experiences. 😛
I reached there a day before and to tell you I was amazed by the run-ups. As I was reaching a day before, they had my outfit pre-arranged and chose the one for that won’t give me last minute hassles, a gorgeous pink saree by Hazel. The lovely outfit was teamed up with an even lovelier sleeveless pink and golden blouse that too was designed by Hazel and accessories by The Red Box India, man I loved those pink tassel earrings. You can check out my whole look below. A lovely stylish, Akanksha Kapoor, helped me achieve this look, she literally worked magic on me with her styling skills. I can’t thank her enough for making me look this pretty. XOXO!
Just the before the walk I had butterflies all over my stomach, I was so nervous but it all went away the moment I stepped up on the ramp. For me it was magical. <3 To help me run the walk, Fgali’s pretty shoes gave me that perfect balance. It was a minute walk but I loved being on ramp, somehow I felt I belong there. 😀 It was a lovely experience, I got to meet so many people, had such a fun with bloggers I can’t sum it up in a post.
Do tell me in the comment below what do you think of my look and till next post stay sexy stay beautiful!
Xoxo!
