Our Favourite Looks from the New York Fashion Week

New York City is the fashion capital of the world. And all the fashion professionals and the fashion business houses have all their eyes on the fashion displayed at the New York fashion week. One could see all the trends and the styles at the ramp of the New York fashion week. Talking about the fashion week, you must have guessed that right that we are going to talk about the fashion week happened in New York recently. You know us, fashion is in our veins and hence here goes some of the most talked about or the famous looks from the NYFW. Of course there were many more looks over these but we got our eyes glued on these looks because of the chic presence of the prints and patterns.

1. Bold and Bright

You can never have enough of bold colours ever in your life and especially on the ramp walk. Brandon Maxwell’s show was all about solid bold outfits in bright colours. Definitely not ready to take our eyes off from this.

2. Mismatching is the Key

Going all matchy is old, now. For celebrating 50 years of the iconic Ralph Lauren, Gigi Hadid walked the ramp of the NYFW  in an American flag mismatched tube gown. How much we love this look and Gigi!

3. Colour Blocking and Colour Rocking

One of our favourites from the New York fashion week was the Prabal Gurung’s show which was all about colours, patterns, colour blocking and what not. This was so chic and playful.

4. Fall for the Fall

The winter/fall collection displayed by Mansur Gavriel was all about the falling drapes for the fall season. This was chic and minimal and something which every fashionista would look forward to. Designs, patterns, prints, falls, and drapes were perfect to the T.

5. Oversized Frills and OTT Ruffles

Anything ruffles and frills are cute but these over oversized frills were savage. Rodarte did a fabulous job with displaying the best collection for the fall season. Savage feminine would be the word for this.

6. Pinks and Gurly

Kate Spade’s show at the New York fashion week was one of my personal favourites shows because it had too much of pinks, florals, girly prints. I loved this collection for it being anything and everything feminine. Kate Spade is the Boss.

7. Quirk and Twirk

Another one of the quirky fashion displays at the NYFW was by Escada. The quirky prints and the fun patterns made everything more fashionable and less regular. We have an eye for things which are OTT and we cannot lie. This season’s New York fashion week was all about bold prints and loud colours on one side to something minimal chic on the other. And this blend was so refreshing to see. Nothing hurted the eyes and we couldn’t be happier. Let us know which of these looks did you find the best and which ones you hated to the core.
