Semi Star Studded Night at the GQ Style Awards 2018

Previously, as viewers we were interested in Bollywood awards shows for the whole event like who won what, how are the celebrities performing and so much more. With the popularity of social media, these days we get to know everything about the award shows in advance. So, more than the actual function, we are more interested these days in who wore what. Bollywood is almost having an award function or two every month. GQ Style Awards 2018 happened last week and it was a semi-star-studded night. Let us talk about this in detail.

1. Alia Bhatt Stuns in Blush Pink

It is always like a treat to watch Alia on the red carpet. Her team of stylists and makeup professionals always do wonders for her entire look. This time also, Alia looked super cute in a blush pink gown which has a thigh-high slit from one side, tie-ups at the waist, plunging neckline and a beautiful trail. Her dress was by Nedret Taciroglu. Her hair and makeup light and neutral as always made her look ravishing.

2. Sexy Surveen Chawla Looked Totally Hot

You can never go wrong with black and when you are Surveen Chawla then there is no chance that you can go wrong. Surveen looked like a hot mess in a shimmery tube gown by Garimon Roferos couture. The gown had slits from both the sides in front. She kept her entire look bold with smokey eyes, dewy makeup, crumpled hair and black tie-ups sandals.

3. Nushrat Bharucha Glowed With Success

Nushrat could be said as the new big thing after her 1st 100 crore movie. This was her third hit movie which made her look even more confident. I love this black outfit on Nushrat. She wore a black, floral embroidered plunging neckline gown which had the perfect princess flare at the bottom. This extraordinarily pretty dress was by Joao Rolo Couture. She kept her makeup low but I feel she should have done something better with her hair.

4. Huma Quereshi Looked Like a Happy Flower Child

Personally, I loved what Huma was wearing for the GQ Style Awards 2018. There were two colours ruling the red carpet of GQ nights and Huma literally wore both of them. She wore a beautiful and simple black gown with two huge blush pink floral motifs on it. This gorgeous outfit was by Gaurav Gupta. Her hairdo was really suiting the outfit and I loved her blush makeup as well.

5. Nidhhi Aggerwal was All Pretty in Pink

As I said, Nidhi was also in the mainstream colour of the night which was pink. I loved this pink outfit on Nidhhi but I feel this was not so pretty for the GQ Style Awards night. But still, I loved the outfit. This pink ensemble was really pretty and I love the ruffles on the skirt. Her makeup and hair were decent but not as gorgeous as she has done better with her previous red carpet outfits. We expect more from you Nidhhi.

6. Isabelle Kaif in Mesh Work Dress

Katrina Kaif’s sister, Isabelle is seen in a lot of places these days. We wonder if she is going to make her Bollywood debut anytime soon. Isabelle is was also seen at the red carpet of the GQ Style Awards 2018 in a tube black gown by Temperley London. Her dress was not so pretty yet I loved the lower detailing of mesh fabric. Her hair and makeup were also not so gorgeous and she needs a hell lot of improvement.

7. Shahid Looks Dapper in an All Black Suit

I love Shahid Kapoor’s style, the way he dresses and moreover the way he carries everything with a suave. He wore a black pant with a black shimmery shirt and a black blazer. Shahid completed the look with a black footwear and he looked handsome as ever. He was all well groomed and perfectly styled for the style awards.

8. Akshay Kumar was The Man of the Night Like Always

Akshay Kumar has been my favourite man when it comes to styling and fashion. Or basically, everything! Akshay Kumar wore a black buttoned-down blazer with a camouflage pant and black shoes. I love how his fitness is seen in his physique and how fabulously he can carry each outfit.

9. Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sharma Made for a Lovely Pair

The couple looked lovely and complemented each other in a black and white outfit on the red carpet of the function. Rohit is a star cricketer and looked like one in an all black suit with black brogues. Ritika, on the other hand, wore a black pencil skirt with a white front knot shirt and black strappy sandals. No doubt that they were perfectly coordinated but still I felt that Ritika was way behind in terms of style from Rohit.
