Highlights of the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018

Fashion weeks are the event of the year in which we get to know about the upcoming fashion trends of the seasons. Apart from the Lakme Fashion Week which is the main fashion event of the country, there are various fashion weeks which happen in our country where we can see works of a lot of designers. Be it the top designers of the country or some upcoming and budding designers, all of them showcase their work and get more platforms for the audience. Last week, another fashion week happened where we saw a lot of designers showcasing their styles and the show was Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018. Here are some of the highlights of the event.

1. Benafsha Soonawallah Looked Cute AF as a Showstopper

The MTV VJ and one of the most controversial contestants of last season’s Bigg Boss, Benafsha Soonawallah aced the ramp for her designer friends Pinky and Sheshank Bagadia. She wore a gorgeous Silver Moon tube embellished ruffled gown by their label called Eye Candy. Benafsha looked really pretty in that outfit and yes, she looked like one hell of a showstopper.


2. Upen Patel Back to the Modelling Game

One of the highlights of the show was watching Upen Patel back on the ramp. He has been a handsome face in the modelling world but was not seen much these days. He walked the ramp of Bombay Times Fashion week 2018 in a bluish grey pinstriped suit. Upen completed the look with embellished loafers and looked good.


3. Amyra Dastur, the Lovely Lady

Amyra Dastur is one of the young and pretty faces in the glam world. She was the showstopper for one of the fabulous fashion designers, Archana Kochhar. Amyra wore a lehenga in the shade of beige, golden and red which had fringes on the blouse. She looked regal and flaunted the outfit amazingly.


4. Dino Morea was Smiling as Ever

Dino Morea is one of the actors of Bollywood is totally into fitness and a healthy lifestyle and that is the reason he looks fab even today. He walked the ramp walk at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018 in an all-black look. Dino wore a simple black shirt with a black denim pant. He completed his look with a black watch and black sneakers.


5. Urvashi Rautela at Her Stylish Best Look

Urvashi was also the main girl for Archana Kochchar. She walked the ramp for her in a ballroom gown. It was a beautiful tube gown with mermaid flair detailing at the bottom. It was a bodycon dress in black and maroon which bedazzled with sequences.



6. Karishma Tanna Displays Fresh Springs through her Walk

I mean to say that Karishma wore a floral co-ordinates set for the label called Flirtatious which is owned by the ace fashion designers Sukriti and Aakriti. It was a beautiful outfit and Karishma looked beautiful in it too. She did proper justice to the outfit and did a great job.


7. Surveen Chawla was the Sexiest Showstopper of the event

One of the sexiest appearances by a showstopper at Bombay Times Fashion week 2018 was by Surveen Chawla. She stopped the show for label Karleo Fashion. Surveen looked sexy as ever in a tube maxi gown in light green and dark dust pink shade. The outfit had mirror or crystal detailing all over.


8. The Very Lovely Kiara Advani in Ethnic Wear

Kiara Advani was the showstopper for a label called Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika. It was a gorgeous pink and white lehenga. The best part was the intricate designs of the lehenga which was trendy and edgy at the same time. Her blouse and sheer dupatta, all were so beautifully styled together that it was tough to choose what to see first.


9. Malaika Arora also Stopped the Show at the Event

Malaika Arora was one of the eye candy stars of the show. She was the showstopper for a clothing brand/label by Mandira Wirk. She wore a pretty white dress for the event and looked pretty. Malaika walked the ramp like a professional that she is and closed the show with utmost grace.


These were some of the insights from the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018. Though we did not see a lot of mainstream Bollywood celebrities at the event but we got to see some gorgeous outfits by some of the finest designers in our country.
