I attended JD annual design awards this year, it started on 1st July 2015 and ran for two days. The collections showcased by the students of JD institute of technology was amazing and heart touching.

Esteemed designers like Rocky S, Manjeet Bhullar , Varija Bajaj, Shantanu and Nikhil, Saket Modi, etc attended the event, it was surely a great chance for all aspiring students to showcase their work to all these great names.

Being a fashionholic I was excited on seeing the awesome collections showcased by students of Jdiian. The vibrancy of fashion was on full display at the JNU Stadium.

Almost everyone applauded the event, Rocky S.  the Bollywood fashion designer exclaimed ” Each and every piece was like nothing I’d ever seen before. Each designer had their own individual take on their collection, and you could tell why they put so much time , sweat, tears and love into designs. It made me remember those days when I received the trophy 25 years back at the same platform”

“It was a night to remember, and I always feel so lucky that I get to attend this show and support these students who are going to be the designers of tomorrow, said, Shantanu and Nikhil

‘It’s amazing to see a student, Rocky S, who passed from here 25 years back, is now giving awards to the student of today’s generation. I wish all the students all the best wishes and may they flourish in their respective carriers and make their parents and the JD institute proud., said Mr. Rc Dalal, Executive Director , JD Institute of Fashion Technology.

What I wore
