From on-trend buzz to fabulous stories, here at IFB we always try to keep you updated on what’s new and chic in the world of fashion and to continue the trails we bring you a series where we will interview three mentee bloggers from the contest Swarovski Style Your Way To Paris and present you their take on fashion, blogging, styling and much more.

Swarovski Style Your Way To Paris is a contest for fashion bloggers, where three mentee fashion bloggers from three different cities will compete to win a 3-day all-expense paid trip to Paris, along with their mentor blogger and will get a chance to hangout with Nathalie Colin, Swarovski worldwide creative director and to check out the Paris Fashion Week Spring Summer 2016, Swarovski Jewellery Collection.

Last on the series we present you the mentee blogger from Team Delhi and the winner of Swarovski Style Your Way To Paris 2015 contest, Nikita Mehra!

1. Hi, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?

I am a typical Leo woman. At least that’s what I like to believe. So I am brave, confident, and ambitious. And at the same time there is a soft side to me, I am too emotional.

2. Where did you find the inspiration for your blog? When did you start?

I have always loved fashion and am inspired by everything around me. The interest just went to another level  after I became a fan of Serena Van Der Woodsen. My baby blog is 3 months old. 🙂

3. Tell us about the competition. Where did you find the information of the competition? What were the stages of the competition? How has your experience been so far?

Competition or there is a better way to put it, my blogger friends – There are many , like in every profession and I got to know about them when I decided to start my own blog. I wanted to get an idea of the blogging scene in the country. The experience has been wonderful!

4. How would you describe your personal style?

Bipolar. I believe in minimalism some days and glam on others, though my heart is biased towards everything girly.

5. How do you put together an outfit – can you talk us through the process?

It really just depends on the occasion, and my mood, a lot on my mood. 😛 On days where I want my hair perfectly done and my make up on fleek, I know in my heart that my outfit needs to compliment that , and so I look out for long skirts , or maxis or pretty blouses. On days when I am not in the mood, I just like to be a normal jean and tee girl with my hair in a bun.

6. So what’s your typical day doing the blog?

That’s the best part about blogging, there is no typical day. Every day is so different. Some days I am really busy running errands and trying to meet commitments so I am shooting and then writing posts back to back and then planning for coming ones, other days are more relaxed so I am just replying to my mails or scrolling through my Instagram.

7. Who does your amazing photography?

I don’t have a fixed photographer because everybody likes variation in the photos. But honestly my “personal” favorite of them all is my mom. 😀 She has clicked for one of my posts which was an instant hit.

8. What is the biggest challenge about fashion blogging?

Being creative and interesting so as to keep the blog attractive to the people viewing it. It needs to look fresh always.

9. What are some of your current fashion obsessions?

Culottes, knee length gladiators, everything fringe, rompers, among others of course.

10. Season of Fashion weeks is upon us, what’s your one favorite look from Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015?

I absolutely loved Arpita Mehta and Riddhi Mehra.

11. A style and beauty tip for fall 2015?

I believe the key to healthy skin is moisturizing and making sure your skin products don’t render your skin dry especially during this season. It’s still hot in Delhi but 2 months down the line, layering will be your BFF.
